Hi, Lori here,
When we started Serendipity Coffee & Tea in 2018, I was a homeschooling mom of two high schoolers; Benjamin was a recent high school graduate. While we opened our shop because of our love for coffee, it was also a great learning experience and quickly became the biggest project of our homeschooling career! We all learned business from the ground up; planning, budgeting, licensing, advertising, ordering, managing, customer service, the list goes on and on. Each of us was in charge of different areas of the business and gained valuable skills that we’ll use in future endeavors.

Fast forward four years! I finished my homeschool journey and am now a grandmother! The teens that I used to work with are all young adults; two of them getting married next year! They are each amazing in their own way and are ready to turn their hobbies and skills into full time careers. So, after much discussion, we have decided to sell Serendipity Coffee & Tea.

Signs and ads will be going up and my workers will be going off to new jobs one by one. We’ll be adjusting our hours and I’ll be managing the shop until a sale. No worries, your favorite drinks will still be available!

We’re hoping the shop stays local so the Linn community and area residents can still get their favorite drinks. We have a wonderful property company that we rent the land that our shop sits on, and they’ve agreed to give the new owners the same great rent. Or if a buyer prefers, our building is considered ‘portable’, built by Classic Buildings of Linn, and can be moved and hooked up at a new location.

This is a turn-key opportunity; building, equipment, tools, inventory, mobile bar unit, and branding! Yes, you can own the name, logo, graphics, recipes, website, and social media that makes Serendipity the number 1 location when you Google ‘coffee’! We will even train the new owners! The hard work has been done for you, everything you need to run a coffee shop has already been put together and is up and operating.

We plan to keep our advertising local to Osage County and the surrounding areas at first. If you or someone you know would be interested in this business opportunity please have them call Lori at 573-291-9156.
